Defence Woensdrecht carries out the usual tasks that every air base is required to do but is also responsible for the training, weather forecast and logistics for the entire air force. Maintenance hangars have been built with large burglar-proof overhead doors where maintenance, repair and servicing of various Defence vehicles is carried out. The hangars can also be used for the practical training of Defence staff. The hangar doors have high level of security.
